John W. Cooper
Chief Executive Officer
John W. Cooper serves as Chief Executive Officer at ClearStream Energy Services Inc., a leading service provider for wear technologies, fabrication, construction, maintenance, turnarounds, and transportation. Mr. Cooper joined ClearStream in April 2015 to provide strategic direction, generate operational results, and create long-term shareholder value and profitable growth. In November 2016, Mr. Cooper was elected to the board of directors of ClearStream Energy Services Inc.
Mr. Cooper is a distinguished leader with over 30 years of leadership experience in the energy, industrial and logistic industries, where he was steering organization strategy and building successful teams in diverse business environments. Prior to joining ClearStream, Mr. Cooper served in various senior positions including Chief Operating Officer of Savanna Energy Services Corp.; President and Chief Executive Officer at Enermax Services Inc.; and President of Superior Propane Inc.
Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
Chief Financial Officer
Gary Summach serves as Chief Financial Officer at ClearStream Energy Services Inc., a leading service provider for wear technologies, fabrication, construction, maintenance, turnarounds, and transportation. In this role, Mr. Summach is responsible for ClearStream’s entire financial management, which includes budgeting, forecasting and planning, risk management, information technology, financial reporting, as well as oversight of investor and stakeholder communications for the organization. In addition, he is responsible for executing strategic objectives that include growth and business opportunities, performance and improvement.
Prior to joining ClearStream, Mr. Summach spent 9 years with a large multi-national public accounting firm, and 7 years with an Alberta-based oilfield services company where he held various senior finance roles.
Mr. Summach holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a member of the CPA in Alberta and Canada.
Chief Operating Officer
Neil Wotton serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at ClearStream Energy Services Inc., a leading service provider for wear technologies, fabrication, construction, maintenance, turnarounds, and transportation. Mr. Wotton joined the team in 2015 as the Vice President, Wood Buffalo region and was promoted to COO role where he oversees ClearStream’s operations for all service offerings. This role requires him to develop best practices and create cost effective win-win solutions, while remaining customer focused and promoting company vision and safety culture.
Mr. Wotton is an accomplished leader with over 28 years of extensive experience in heavy industrial construction working on and leading major projects. Prior to joining ClearStream, Mr. Wotton worked with AECOM, a Fortune 200 company. During his 27-year tenure at AECOM (Flint/URS), Neil held progressive leadership and executive roles such as Estimating Manager, Director of Project Management, VP of Fabrication and Modularization and Sr. Vice President of Major Projects.
Senior Vice President Business Development & Corporate Services
Paul Bourque serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Services at ClearStream Energy Services Inc., a leading service provider for wear technologies, fabrication, construction, maintenance, turnarounds, and transportation. In this role, Mr. Bourque is responsible for retaining and developing new clients, implementing business development structure, tools and strategies, and providing leadership in change management. Additionally, Paul is responsible for leadership of the company’s Supply Chain and Quality Control functions.
Mr. Bourque has over 25 years of experience in business development with Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining ClearStream, he held several international business development and program management leadership roles at L-3 Communications and Goodrich Aerospace in Toronto.
